Enterprise AI startup DecisionX has appointed Shantha Maheswari Sekhar as Strategic Advisor for Go-to-Market (GTM) and Industry Relations, as the company looks to strengthen its enterprise expansion strategy and deepen industry partnerships.
The Bengaluru-based startup said Sekhar, who previously served as Managing Director at Accenture and held a senior leadership role at EY, will work closely with the leadership team to scale DecisionX’s enterprise presence across multiple industries.
Founded in 2025 by Ranjan Kumar, DecisionX builds AI-powered decision intelligence systems designed for strategy, analytics, and operations leaders. The platform helps enterprises unify data across functions, identify risks, analyze root causes, and recommend next-best actions to improve business decision-making.
The company said the appointment comes at a time when it is expanding early enterprise engagements into a broader industry-focused growth strategy while also strengthening its leadership and advisory network.
Sekhar brings more than three decades of experience across consulting, technology, and business transformation. Over the years, she has led consulting practices, built Centers of Excellence, expanded operations into new markets, and worked on go-to-market strategies across sectors including healthcare, consumer, financial services, industrials, and life sciences.
She currently serves on multiple boards as an independent director and advisor and is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration in AI and Machine Learning at the University of Texas at Austin and Walsh University.
Commenting on the appointment, Ranjan Kumar, Founder and CEO of DecisionX, said Shantha’s experience in enterprise transformation, governance, and strategy will play a key role in shaping the company’s next phase of growth.
“She has spent decades working closely with enterprise leaders where major technology and business decisions are made. Her experience and understanding of large-scale transformations will help strengthen our enterprise GTM strategy and industry partnerships,” Kumar said.
In her new role, Sekhar will focus on three key areas, including building DecisionX’s enterprise go-to-market strategy across industries, expanding partnerships with global capability centres and system integrators, and advising the company on governance and operational maturity as it scales.
Speaking about the opportunity, Shantha Maheswari Sekhar said enterprise AI is increasingly moving toward systems that understand the context behind business data and help organizations make faster and more informed decisions.
“The team at DecisionX has built a strong foundation around contextual enterprise AI. I look forward to supporting the company as it expands its reach among strategy and analytics leaders globally,” she said.
DecisionX also revealed that Sekhar is the first among several senior advisors expected to join the company in the coming weeks as it prepares for broader market expansion.
The startup currently works with enterprise customers across sectors such as consumer, healthcare, life sciences, financial services, and industrials. It is also recognised under NVIDIA Inception, a program that supports AI startups globally.
