Pronto Extends Series B to $45 Mn, Doubles Valuation to $200 Mn Amid Rapid Growth in Home Services Market

Instant household services startup Pronto has extended its Series B funding round to $45 million after securing an additional $20 million investment from Lachy Groom. With the fresh capital infusion, the company’s valuation has climbed to $200 million, nearly doubling within a month.

The latest investment comes shortly after Pronto closed the first tranche of its Series B round at $25 million. Existing investors in the company include General Catalyst, Bain Capital Ventures, Glade Brook Capital Partners, Epiq Capital, and Lachy Groom. To date, the startup has raised nearly $60 million in total funding.

Founded in 2025 by Anjali Sardana, Pronto offers on-demand household services by connecting users with trained and background-verified professionals. Its platform currently provides services including home cleaning, laundry, utensil washing, meal preparation, gardening, and car washing.

The company claims that its daily bookings have increased sharply to 26,000 from around 18,000 after the initial close of the Series B round. This translates to nearly 7.8 lakh monthly bookings. At the same time, its workforce has grown significantly from 1,440 professionals in January to around 6,500 over the last four months. Pronto also stated that the platform is operating at more than 65% utilization.

Speaking about the company’s long-term vision, Sardana said that organizing informal labor could become one of the most significant transformations in the services sector over the next decade. She added that Pronto aims to build the world’s largest labor organization platform.

The startup plans to strengthen its presence in existing cities over the coming months while expanding newer service categories. It has already introduced offerings such as gardening, car washing, and home cooks in select Bengaluru micromarkets.

The household services segment is becoming increasingly competitive, with players such as Urban Company and Snabbit scaling rapidly. Urban Company recently said that its InstaHelp service crossed 1 million bookings in March, while Snabbit also reported 1 million orders during the same period.

Investor interest in the category has surged over the past year. Combined funding raised by Snabbit and Pronto has touched nearly $170 million since January 2025, including around $100 million raised during 2026 alone. Snabbit had also secured a $56 million Series D round last month.

As demand for organized home services grows across urban India, startups like Pronto are betting on technology, workforce management, and operational scale to capture a larger share of the fast-evolving market.
