Smallest.ai Raises $8 Million Seed Round to Accelerate Enterprise Voice AI Expansion Across Global Markets

Enterprise Voice AI startup Smallest.ai has raised $8 million in seed funding, led by Sierra Ventures, with participation from 3one4 Capital and Better Capital. The round marks one of the largest early-stage investments in India’s enterprise AI infrastructure space this year.

The newly raised funds will be utilized to expand operations across North America and India, strengthen the company’s AI-driven voice automation stack, and drive enterprise adoption in regulated sectors such as banking, financial services, retail, healthcare, and IT.

Expanding Global Footprint and Leadership

As part of its growth strategy, Smallest.ai has appointed Apoorv Sood as Global Head of Go-To-Market (GTM) to lead enterprise partnerships and accelerate adoption across global markets.

Founded by Sudarshan Kamath and Akshat Mandloi, the company has built a proprietary Voice AI platform that combines speech recognition, natural language understanding, and speech synthesis to power real-time, human-grade conversations at scale.

Its Lightning engine achieves ultra-low latency of 100 milliseconds, while the Electron model is reportedly 10x faster than existing industry benchmarks.

Driving AI-Powered Enterprise Efficiency

Smallest.ai currently serves leading enterprises such as Paytm, MakeMyTrip, ServiceNow, and Dalmia Cement, providing multilingual voice capabilities — with additional Indian languages set to launch soon.

The company has reported 300% growth in the US and 150% year-on-year growth in India, reflecting rising demand for scalable voice automation across enterprise environments. Its platform helps organizations reduce customer support costs by up to 80%, boost agent productivity tenfold, and enable 24×7 availability for large-scale operations.

With the Voice AI market projected to reach $47.5 billion by 2034, Smallest.ai aims to position itself as a global category leader in enterprise-grade voice automation, helping organizations reimagine customer and employee interactions through AI.
