Creencia Consulting, a new-age investment management firm, has announced the launch of its maiden hedge-fund style investment vehicle, backed by reputed family offices, UHNIs, and industry veterans. The fund begins with an assets under management (AuM) commitment of ₹100 crore, introducing a structured and risk-managed investment model to India’s growing alternative investment landscape.
Drawing inspiration from global hedge fund frameworks, Creencia’s fund is designed to generate consistent, direction-neutral returns, emphasizing disciplined drawdown control of under 5%. The firm aims to double its AuM within the next 6–12 months by onboarding strategically aligned investors while maintaining its exclusive, member-only approach for refined capital participation.
The launch comes amid a surge in India’s Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) market, which recorded total commitments of ₹13 lakh crore (US$149.25 billion) as of December 2024—a 5% quarter-on-quarter rise, according to SEBI. With growing interest in alternative assets, investors are increasingly seeking diversified, risk-mitigated instruments to hedge against public market volatility and enhance portfolio performance.
Despite India hosting one of the most liquid derivatives markets globally, few institutional players have developed structured, risk-managed investment models around it—a gap Creencia intends to fill through its algorithm-driven and data-centric strategies.
Commenting on the launch, Amandeep Singh Uberoi, Founder & CIO of Creencia Consulting, said:
“Market dynamics are evolving fast, and investors want stability backed by intelligent risk management. At Creencia, we’ve already managed over ₹70 crore successfully. Our use of advanced algorithms, data-driven execution, and agile decision systems allows us to operate efficiently in a market that demands both precision and prudence.”
Creencia represents a new generation of investment platforms that combine global best practices with India’s unique market opportunities. With a young, analytical, and performance-driven team, the firm is carving out a niche as a risk-first, technology-enabled investment manager focused on consistent and transparent outcomes.
As the company expands, Creencia Consulting is not just building an investment fund—it’s shaping a movement in modern wealth management.
