Let’s Game Now Closes ₹30 Crore Investment Round Backed by Anand Mahindra

Let’s Game Now, an Indian gaming and esports company, has closed a ₹30 crore investment round backed by business leader Anand Mahindra and Bestvantage Investments. A major portion of the round was also invested by a UAE-based family office, adding an international investor to the company’s growing strategic network.

Bestvantage Investments exclusively advised the transaction. The investment marks a significant milestone for Let’s Game Now as it advances the development of the Indian Super Gaming League (ISGL), a franchise-based gaming league designed to bring together competitive gaming, sports, entertainment and technology.

The funding comes as the company looks to strengthen its position in India’s expanding gaming and esports market by building a platform connecting players, fans, teams, brands and entertainment partners.

Investment to Accelerate the Indian Super Gaming League

The latest investment will support Let’s Game Now’s efforts to develop ISGL into a large-scale gaming and entertainment property. The franchise-based league aims to create a structured platform for competitive gaming while expanding opportunities for brands, teams and gaming communities.

Raman Sharma, Founder and CEO of Bestvantage Investments, said the successful completion of the investment round reflects the opportunity presented by India’s gaming and esports ecosystem.

“The successful closing of this round validates the opportunity we see in India’s gaming and esports ecosystem. We are now focused on accelerating the growth of ISGL and building a scalable platform connecting players, fans, teams, brands and entertainment,” Sharma said.

Santanu Basu, CEO of Let’s Game Now, described the investment as an important step in the company’s growth journey.

“This round marks an important new chapter for Let’s Game Now. The backing of strategic investors and leaders from business and entertainment strengthens our vision to build the Indian Super Gaming League into a major gaming and entertainment property,” Basu said.

Strategic Investors Bring Business and Entertainment Connections

The investment brings together participants from the business and investment communities, including Anand Mahindra, alongside Bestvantage Investments and a UAE-based family office.

According to the company, Mahindra brings experience and associations across the sports and business ecosystem, including properties such as the Pro Kabaddi League and Chess League.

Let’s Game Now has also received backing from entertainment personalities Ranveer Singh and Abhishek Bachchan, adding to its connections across business, entertainment and gaming.

The company is seeking to leverage these relationships as it develops ISGL and explores opportunities to connect competitive gaming with broader sports and entertainment audiences.

Building a Nationwide Gaming Community

Let’s Game Now has established a presence across India’s gaming ecosystem through tournament organisation, brand partnerships, live broadcasting and community development.

According to the company, its operating footprint includes:

  • 50 million-plus total reach
  • 2,000-plus events organised
  • 30-plus clients served
  • Presence across more than 18 countries
  • A gaming community of over 1.4 million members

Its digital community includes approximately 387,900 YouTube subscribers, 193,300 Discord members and 40,000 Instagram followers. The company also maintains a database of more than 100,000 gamers.

At the grassroots level, Let’s Game Now reports a presence across more than 400 colleges in over 80 cities, reaching upwards of 700,000 students. Its campus network is supported by more than 20 events and 30-plus gaming club partnerships.

These networks could provide a foundation for developing ISGL’s audience, identifying emerging gaming talent and expanding engagement with players and fans across different regions.

India’s Gaming Market Presents Growth Opportunities

The investment comes as India’s gaming industry continues to attract attention from businesses, investors and entertainment companies.

The supplied company information estimates that India has approximately 591 million gamers and values the country’s gaming market at around $3.8 billion, with a projected increase to $9.2 billion by FY29.

A large gaming audience, growing digital participation and opportunities for brand engagement have created potential for businesses operating across esports, gaming tournaments and interactive entertainment.

For Let’s Game Now, developing a franchise-based league could provide a platform to bring together competitive gaming, sponsorships, entertainment partnerships and community engagement. The company’s existing tournament operations and grassroots network may also support its efforts to build a broader gaming property.

Bestvantage Investments Facilitates Strategic Capital

Bestvantage Investments, founded by Raman Sharma, is a boutique investment advisory firm that connects startups with strategic investors across India and the Middle East.

The firm focuses on deal sourcing, investment structuring and capital raising for early-stage and growth-stage companies. Its network includes family offices, venture funds and institutional investors.

In the Let’s Game Now transaction, the firm acted as the exclusive adviser, helping facilitate the investment round as the gaming company prepares for its next phase of expansion.

Looking Ahead

With ₹30 crore in fresh investment, Let’s Game Now is preparing to accelerate the development of the Indian Super Gaming League and build on its existing gaming community, tournament operations and brand relationships.

The company’s next phase will centre on translating its audience reach and industry partnerships into a scalable gaming and entertainment platform. Its ability to attract sustained participation from players, audiences, brands and strategic partners will be important to the long-term development of ISGL.

The investment also reflects the growing interest in India’s gaming ecosystem, where companies are exploring opportunities to build structured competitive platforms and connect digital entertainment with mainstream sports and business.
