Bengaluru-based Raanro Interior Technology Designs Pvt. Ltd., the parent company of children’s interiors brand Magical Nest, has raised ₹4.12 crore in a pre-seed funding round at a pre-money valuation of ₹60 crore.
The round was led by Anshuman Singh of Think41 and saw participation from Stargazer Fund along with notable angel investors including Kunal Shah (Founder, CRED), Ankit Nagori (Founder, EatFit), Gaurav Singh Kushwaha (Founder, BlueStone), and Prashant Tandon and Gaurav Agarwal (Founders, Tata 1MG).
The fresh capital will be used to build an AI-powered platform aimed at simplifying the entire interior design workflow. This includes everything from lead generation and customer discovery to design creation, pricing, execution, and final delivery.
India’s home interiors market, estimated to cross $30 billion, continues to remain highly fragmented. Many businesses still rely on manual processes, disconnected vendors, and lack transparency. Raanro aims to solve these challenges by bringing efficiency and scalability through technology.
At the core of its business is Magical Nest, a brand focused on premium children’s interiors. The company designs functional and creative spaces tailored specifically for kids, including study areas, modular furniture, play zones, and smart storage solutions that evolve as children grow.
Currently, Magical Nest operates in cities such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Delhi-NCR, while also serving customers in Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Cochin, Coimbatore, and Kolkata. Projects typically range between ₹6 lakh and ₹9 lakh, depending on the level of customization.
The company is on track to close the current financial year with revenue of around ₹14–15 crore, driven by rising demand among urban families for thoughtfully designed children’s spaces.
Speaking on the vision, Rahul Bhatt, Co-founder and CEO of Magical Nest, said that children’s spaces are often overlooked despite playing a crucial role in a child’s development. He added that the company aims to make the design and execution process simple and seamless for parents while creating safe and inspiring environments for kids.
Raanro was founded by Rahul Bhatt, Ankush Dixit, and Rohit Rai, who bring experience across technology, product development, and interior execution. Their combined expertise has helped the company build a strong foundation in both design and operations.
Lead investor Anshuman Singh highlighted the potential of AI in transforming the interior design industry. He noted that Magical Nest serves as a strong entry point into the premium kids’ interiors segment, while the broader Raanro platform could eventually support multiple categories within the home décor ecosystem.
Going forward, the company plans to expand into other premium interior segments, with Magical Nest acting as its first focused vertical.
