Ember, a premium cookware brand, has raised $3.2 million in seed funding from HNIs, family offices, and existing backers, with prominent participation from Suhasini Sampath (Co-founder, Yogabar) and Apurva Salarpuria.
The new capital will be used to scale R&D efforts, strengthen proprietary cookware technology, expand manufacturing capacity, and deepen the brand’s market presence.
Adding further momentum, Chef Saransh Goila—renowned for Goila Butter Chicken and appearances on MasterChef Australia—has joined as an investor and partner. He will also lead Ember’s upcoming Innovation Lab, aimed at creating cookware solutions specifically designed for the complexities of Indian kitchens.
Founded in 2024 by Siddharth Gadodia and Himanshi Tandon, Ember develops clean, high-performance cookware featuring its proprietary Arcilla ceramic coating and Thermoclad technology, engineered to withstand the intensity of Indian cooking styles.
While designed in California with the help of design studio Box Clever, Ember’s products are manufactured in Italy, combining global craftsmanship with the durability Indian households demand.
The brand is targeting an ARR of ₹30 crore within its first year, positioning itself against global players such as GreenPan and Tefal, as well as domestic rivals Meyer, Bergner, and Stahl.
