Analog watch startup Rotoris has successfully closed a $3 million seed funding round. The significant investment was led by prominent figures including Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath, actor-investor Vivek Anand Oberoi, and institutional investors Venture Catalysts and 100 Unicorns. Comedian Tanmay Bhat also participated in the round.
Key Backers & Strategic Plan
The funding saw strong participation from over 30 founders, featuring well-known names like Varun Alagh (Mamaearth), Gaurav Khatri (Noise), Siddharth Dungarwal (Snitch), and Nitin Jain (OfBusiness).
Rotoris, founded by Aakash Anand, Prerna Gupta, Anant Narula, and Kunal Kapania, is positioning itself as an engineering-led analog watch brand focused on mechanical movements and in-house assembly.
Utilization of Funds & Launch Details
The capital raised will be strategically deployed to:

Rotoris also plans to establish its first physical experience store in New Delhi, which will serve as a combined retail and brand showcase space.
The firm is scheduled for a commercial launch in January 2026 with five collections: Auriqua, Monarch, Astonia, Arvion, and Manifesta. Their watches will feature premium materials, including sapphire crystal, automatic and quartz movements, and 316L stainless steel cases, with each model being limited and numbered.
