Lawyered, a fast-growing legal-tech startup, has raised ₹8.5 crore in funding on the business reality show IdeaBaaz at a ₹120 crore pre-money valuation, marking the largest funding announcement ever made on Indian television.
The investment round brought together a panel of prominent investors including Pawan Jaggi, venture capitalist Sandesh Sharda, The Sleep Company co-founder Priyanka Salot, and Arjun Vaidya, reflecting strong confidence in Lawyered’s vision of building scalable legal infrastructure for India.
According to the company, the fresh capital will be used to drive product innovation, strengthen technology infrastructure, expand nationwide distribution, and boost brand visibility as it scales its legal and compliance offerings across the country.
Founded in 2018 by Himanshu Gupta, Lawyered is a legal-tech platform focused on making legal services accessible, proactive, and technology-driven. The company initially built solutions for the mobility ecosystem, launching platforms such as LOTS247 for roadside legal assistance and ChallanPay for traffic challan discovery and resolution. Over time, Lawyered has expanded into documentation, compliance, and legal support services for individuals, businesses, and startups through its AI-enabled platform.
The startup claims it has supported compliance for over 600,000 vehicles and 800 businesses, resolved more than 200,000 legal matters, and helped customers save over ₹50 crore in penalties and operational downtime. Its services are powered by a nationwide network of 70,000+ lawyers.
Commenting on the milestone, Himanshu Gupta, Founder & CEO of Lawyered, said:
“This ₹8.5 crore All-Titans deal is not just a funding milestone; it is validation of our mission to make legal access and mobility compliance seamless for every Indian. When every Titan on IdeaBaaz chose to back us together, it reaffirmed that the infrastructure we are building is essential at a national level. This capital will accelerate our efforts to scale LOTS247, expand ChallanPay, and strengthen our journey toward becoming India’s most trusted mobility-compliance ecosystem.”
Looking ahead, Lawyered plans to build the rails of future legal infrastructure, with expansion into sectors such as finance, real estate, healthcare, and more. The company will continue to scale LOTS247, India’s first roadside legal assistance service, and ChallanPay, both of which have seen growing adoption among vehicle owners, logistics operators, gig workers, and small businesses.
Speaking on the investment, Sandesh Sharda said:
“Lawyered is solving a real and urgent problem at scale. Legal access in India has traditionally been fragmented, slow, and reactive. What this team is building is a proactive, technology-led legal infrastructure capable of impacting millions of individuals and enterprises.”
