Troovy Raises Rs 100 Crore in Series B Funding Led by Fireside Ventures

Gurugram-based food and snacking startup Troovy has raised Rs 100 crore in a Series B funding round led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from Sharrp Ventures and other investors. The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its research and development (R&D) and manufacturing capabilities, strengthen distribution across quick-commerce and offline retail channels, and accelerate its Build Together model.

The funding comes after Entrackr exclusively reported in June that Troovy was looking to raise up to Rs 200 crore in a Series B round.

The latest investment follows the company’s $5 million Series A funding round in January 2026, which was led by Fireside Ventures and Sharrp Ventures. Existing investors Spring Marketing Capital and Veltis Capital also participated in that round.

Before the Series A, Troovy raised $2.3 million, equivalent to Rs 20 crore, in a pre-Series A round led by Fireside Ventures in May 2025.

Troovy Focuses on Better Food Choices for Children and Families

Co-founded in 2023 by Aditya Mukherjee and Mansi Baranwal, Troovy is a food and snacking brand that offers products such as snacks, sauces, spreads and millet pasta. The company focuses on using carefully selected ingredients to develop convenient food options for children and families.

Troovy develops its products using feedback from parents and insights into children’s preferences. Its approach is aimed at making better food choices more appealing to younger consumers without overlooking taste and convenience.

One of the brand’s product claims relates to its vacuum-cooked potato chips, which contain 10% to 12% oil, compared with the 35% to 40% found in mainstream chips. The company also offers clean-label ketchup and seasonings for children that do not contain synthetic additives or preservatives.

Through product development and ingredient selection, Troovy is targeting families looking for alternatives to conventional packaged snacks.

Fresh Capital to Support Manufacturing and Distribution

Troovy plans to invest the newly raised funds in expanding its R&D and manufacturing capacity. These investments are expected to support product development and help the company meet growing demand as it expands its distribution network.

The startup also intends to strengthen its presence across quick-commerce platforms and offline retail channels. While digital platforms provide access to consumers looking for convenient purchases, offline distribution can help the brand reach a wider customer base.

Another priority is accelerating its Build Together model. The company has identified this as part of its expansion plans as it continues to develop products around consumer preferences and parental feedback.

Competition in India’s Healthy Snacking Market

Troovy operates in the kids’ health food segment, where it competes with brands such as Slurrp Farm, Timios and The Mumum Co.

The wider better-for-you food category also includes brands such as Open Secret and Beyond Snack. These companies are responding to demand for alternative food products while expanding through direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels, e-commerce, quick commerce and offline retail.

For emerging food brands, growth depends on more than introducing products with different ingredients. Maintaining product quality, meeting consumer expectations and building a reliable distribution network are also important as companies expand beyond their initial customer base.

Troovy’s planned investments in manufacturing, research and distribution are intended to support this next phase of growth.

Investor Interest in Better-for-You Food Brands

The funding round comes amid continued investor interest in brands developing food products around changing consumer preferences.

In February 2026, Slurrp Farm secured Rs 30 crore in an extended Series C funding round from Scarlet Ventures.

In July 2026, Open Secret raised Rs 50 crore through an equity investment from Desai Brothers Group, alongside institutional debt.

These investments reflect continued funding activity in the broader packaged food and healthy snacking market, where startups are building brands around ingredient selection, product innovation and convenient access.

With Rs 100 crore in fresh funding, Troovy plans to strengthen its product development and manufacturing operations while expanding its reach across online and offline channels. Its next phase will focus on scaling distribution and making its range of food products accessible to more children and families.
