Zo World, the parent company of travel and lifestyle brand Zostel, has announced a strategic leadership transition. Aviral Gupta, the company’s first employee and a decade-long contributor, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Co-founder Dharamveer Singh Chouhan, who led the company since inception, will now serve as Chairman.
Founded by Chouhan, Zo World has grown into a multi-vertical travel-tech platform operating Zostel, Zo Trips, Zo Villas, Zo Houses, and Zo Digital. The platform integrates tech-enabled travel experiences, vacation rentals, and co-living spaces into a single ecosystem, monetizing through bookings, memberships, and community-driven services.
Under its next phase of growth, Zo World aims to expand its footprint across Southeast Asia and digitally onboard more than 1,000 local partners to enhance supply and reach.
“Aviral’s deep understanding of our mission and his commitment over the last ten years make him the ideal person to lead us into the future,” said Dharamveer Singh Chouhan. “As Chairman, I will continue to support the company’s vision while enabling Aviral to steer day-to-day operations and strategic expansion.”
The leadership shift comes as Zo World gears up to capture emerging travel trends and unlock new growth markets in the region.
