Terafac Raises ₹6.5 Cr in Pre-Seed Round to Scale AI-Powered Robotics Platform

AI-robotics startup Terafac has secured ₹6.5 crore (approximately $800,000) in a pre-seed funding round led by Inuka Capital, with participation from DEVC, Bharat Founders Fund, Innovation Mission Punjab, and select angel investors.

Founded by Anubhi Khandelwal and Amrit Singh, Terafac is pioneering an AI-Vision platform that transforms standard industrial robots into intelligent, self-adjusting machines—ushering in a new era of flexible automation.

The fresh capital will be deployed towards product innovation, market expansion, and team building, the company said in a statement.

Terafac’s debut product, WeldT, leverages computer vision to automate welding processes, particularly in environments with high product variability. The company plans to extend its AI-based automation solutions to additional manufacturing tasks such as gluing, painting, and quality inspection.

Operating under a “Software-as-a-Skill” (SaaS-k) model, Terafac aims to deploy its solutions across 80 systems for 20 customers within the next 12 months. The company is targeting ₹8 crore in annual recurring revenue (ARR) by FY26, focusing on OEMs and factories seeking next-generation automation tools.

With the convergence of AI and robotics gaining momentum in manufacturing, Terafac’s scalable, software-first approach positions it as a promising player in the industrial automation space.
