Bengaluru-based defence and dual-use technology startup Zoppler Systems has raised Rs 6.5 crore in a funding round co-led by Finvolve and India Accelerator (IA).
The company plans to use the fresh capital to accelerate product development, strengthen field validation of its indigenous technologies, expand its engineering capabilities and scale deployments across defence and dual-use applications.
Founded in November 2024 by Om Rana, Prakash Ramachandra and Shridhar YB, Zoppler Systems is developing indigenous RF sensing products along with a vendor agnostic decision and autonomy platform. Its technology combines sensing, intelligence and response capabilities across both localized and networked deployments.
The startup is building solutions for a range of operational environments, including airborne, ground, naval and future space applications. Its platform is powered by Edge AI and uses an open architecture that allows defence organisations to enhance compatible existing systems with advanced sensing, decision intelligence and response capabilities without having to replace their legacy infrastructure.
Zoppler Systems also supports localized and networked autonomy. This allows multiple assets to share intelligence and coordinate mission critical responses across different operational environments.
The company said its technology is designed to help organisations make faster decisions, improve operational flexibility and achieve seamless interoperability while continuing to use compatible existing infrastructure.
Beyond defence, Zoppler Systems is targeting several dual use applications. These include critical infrastructure, ports, airports, energy facilities, industrial sites and logistics operations, where real time sensing and intelligent decision making are becoming increasingly important.
With the latest funding, Zoppler Systems aims to strengthen its technology development and engineering capabilities while moving towards wider deployment of its indigenous solutions across defence and other mission critical sectors.
