Tsavorite Raises $5 Million from Pavestone to Advance AI Computing Platform

AI computing startup Tsavorite has raised $5 million (approximately Rs 46.65 crore) in a new funding round led by Pavestone, as it looks to strengthen its product capabilities and scale operations.

This comes after the company secured $17.9 million in a Series B round on February 14, 2025, underscoring continued investor confidence in its technology and long-term vision.

Founded in 2023 by Shalesh Thusoo, Tsavorite Scalable Intelligence is focused on building advanced computing solutions for artificial intelligence workloads. At the core of its offering is the Omni Processing Unit (OPU), a new type of semiconductor architecture designed to support AI inference, training, and reinforcement learning.

Unlike traditional systems that rely on separate components, Tsavorite’s OPU integrates CPU, GPU, memory, and connectivity into a single unit. This unified design allows the platform to be adapted to different environments, including edge devices, enterprise systems, and large-scale data centres, depending on power and performance requirements.

In addition to hardware, the company is also developing an integrated open software stack. This enables developers to deploy AI models more easily without needing to rewrite code or depend on proprietary systems, simplifying adoption across industries.

According to the company, the newly raised capital will be used to further product development and support future growth initiatives as it continues to build its presence in the AI and semiconductor space.

With the demand for efficient AI computing infrastructure growing rapidly, Tsavorite is positioning itself to offer scalable and flexible solutions for next-generation AI applications.
