CodeKarma Raises $2.5M Pre-Seed Funding to Boost Developer Productivity with AI-Driven Insights

Developer productivity platform CodeKarma has raised $2.5 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Prosus, Accel, and Xeed Ventures, with additional participation from SenseAI Ventures and Stargazer Ventures.

Founded in 2025 by Ananth Vanchi, CodeKarma aims to revolutionize how developers and engineering teams build and maintain software by embedding real-time production insights directly into their workflows. The platform’s AI-native infrastructure enables risk detection, dead code removal, and continuous improvement of software quality through a closed-loop feedback system.

The fresh capital will be deployed towards global expansion, product development, and strategic hiring. A key focus for the company is to scale its operations into the US enterprise market and deepen the platform’s capabilities for managing large and evolving codebases.

“Modern software teams are drowning in complexity,” said Ananth Vanchi, Founder of CodeKarma. “We’re building infrastructure that doesn’t just observe or alert — it helps developers act in real time with data-informed intelligence.”

CodeKarma’s platform serves engineering teams across industries including e-commerce, fintech, and logistics, helping them streamline operations, reduce technical debt, and accelerate delivery cycles.

The startup joins a growing wave of developer tooling companies leveraging AI to improve software lifecycle efficiency, and its strong early backing positions it well in the global productivity tech space.
