Experiences marketplace Bucketlistt has raised Rs 1.07 crore in a pre-seed angel funding round at a post-money valuation of Rs 10.07 crore. The round witnessed participation from angel investors, including Arvind Choudhar, Aenik Shah, Kartik Khatri, and Yash Mehta.
The startup plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its technology platform, expand its operator network, accelerate customer acquisition, and grow its team as it looks to organize and digitize India’s highly fragmented experiences and tourism market.
Founded in 2025 by chartered accountants Shubham Makhecha (AIR 36), Nitant Desai, and Divyam Shah, Bucketlistt operates a curated marketplace that allows users to discover and book verified experiences across India. The platform offers a wide range of activities, including adventure sports, cultural experiences, and spiritual journeys.
Alongside its consumer marketplace, the company has also launched OkGhumo, an ERP and CRM platform built specifically for experience and activity operators. The software helps operators manage bookings, operations, and finances more efficiently.
India’s experience tourism market is estimated to be worth around USD 45 billion, driven by rising disposable incomes and increasing demand for experiential travel. However, the sector remains largely unorganized, with many travelers relying on fragmented service providers and generic travel platforms. Bucketlistt aims to address this gap through a technology-driven and trust-focused approach.
Since launching in December 2025, the startup claims to have facilitated more than Rs 10 crore worth of bookings and served over 31,000 customers within its first five months of operations.
Currently operating in Rishikesh, Bucketlistt offers experiences such as skydiving, hot-air balloon rides, rafting, camping, ziplines, giant swings, and front-row access to the Ganga Aarti. The company is now preparing to expand into destinations including Manali, Bir, Jaipur, Goa, and Ujjain.
As part of its broader vision, Bucketlistt plans to move beyond adventure tourism by introducing curated cultural and spiritual experiences. These include offerings such as dining with the King of Rajwada, VIP Darshan at the Ujjain Mahakal Aarti, and authentic Feni-making experiences in Goa.
According to the company, every operator listed on the platform is personally vetted by its founding team before onboarding to ensure quality, safety, and reliability.
The startup’s SaaS platform, OkGhumo, has already onboarded three vendors representing more than Rs 40 crore in annual business volume. The company believes the platform can help solve operational challenges faced by activity and tourism operators across the country.
Commenting on the development, Shubham Makhecha, Co-founder of Bucketlistt, said that adventure tourism in India continues to face challenges around trust, standardization, and digital infrastructure. He added that the company is building solutions for both travelers and operators by creating a trusted booking platform while equipping businesses with specialized software tools.
Makhecha also brings hands-on industry experience, being a certified paragliding pilot and trek leader who has guided more than 3,000 participants across India.
Investor Yash Mehta, Founder of Joyspoon, said Bucketlistt’s dual-platform strategy stood out, combining a consumer-facing marketplace with operator-focused software infrastructure. He added that the founding team has demonstrated strong execution capabilities in a short period and is well-positioned to help formalize India’s adventure tourism ecosystem.
Looking ahead, Bucketlistt plans to launch a consumer mobile application, introduce loyalty programs and dynamic pricing features, expand into more destinations, and further enhance OkGhumo with future integrations and AI-powered booking capabilities.
With growing interest in experiential travel and increasing demand for trusted, curated experiences, Bucketlistt is positioning itself as a technology-first platform focused on transforming how Indians discover and book adventure, cultural, spiritual, and lifestyle experiences.
