Alive App, an AI-powered experience-tech platform, has raised $1 million in a seed funding round led by Powerhouse Ventures, with participation from Flipkart Ventures.
The Bengaluru-based startup had earlier raised ₹6 crore in a pre-seed round led by Powerhouse Ventures last year. With the latest funding, Alive App plans to expand its experience catalogue and strengthen its supply network as it looks to encourage urban consumers to spend more time discovering and participating in leisure and experience-led activities.
Founded in 2023 by Vivek Kumar, Alive App is building a technology-led platform for discovering curated experiences across categories such as adventure, food, wellness, art, culture, and learning.
The startup currently operates across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, and Goa, offering more than 500 experiences through a network of over 400 creators and partners.
As it scales, Alive App is targeting 3X revenue growth over the coming months, with a particular focus on increasing the frequency with which users engage with the platform.
The company has already reported its first profitable quarter in Bengaluru, which remains its first and largest market. Over the past six months, Alive App has expanded its presence to Mumbai, Chennai, and Delhi, while continuing to operate in Goa.
Its newer markets have also seen a rapid increase in experience supply. According to the company, supply across Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, and Goa has grown five times faster than during its initial expansion phase. Alive App currently adds around 100 new experiences every month to its platform.
The funding comes as experience-led consumption continues to take shape as a distinct category within India’s urban economy. Platforms in the space are using technology to bring together fragmented experiences, creators, and consumers across leisure, culture, wellness, food, and travel.
Alive App is entering a segment that includes players such as Bucketlistt, which raised ₹1.07 crore in pre-seed funding in June to build a marketplace for verified experiences, and Urbanaut, which curates city experiences, workshops, events, culinary pop-ups, wellness activities, and cultural experiences. Experiential travel company WanderOn also raised ₹54 crore in Series A funding in 2026.
With its latest round, Alive App is looking to deepen its presence across India’s major urban markets while building the technology and supply infrastructure needed to make experience discovery a more frequent part of everyday consumer life.
