Circle, a full-stack platform aiming to revolutionize the consumer-to-consumer (C2C) pre-owned goods market with Artificial Intelligence, has successfully raised ₹3.4 crore in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was spearheaded by Titan Capital, with participation from Myntra co-founder Raveen Sastry.
Funding to Bolster AI and Expansion
The newly secured capital will be strategically utilized to fortify Circle’s proprietary AI stack, which includes key features such as:
-
Guided Pricing: Offering sellers data-backed pricing recommendations.
-
Automated Condition Grading: Streamlining product verification and quality assessment.
-
Catalog Matching: Ensuring accurate and complete product information.
Founded in 2025 by Ankit Misra and Chirag Kataruka, Circle plans to focus initially on the electronics and household categories. The platform also intends to deepen its presence in Bengaluru and embark on an expansion into new cities by 2026.
Eliminating Uncertainty in Used Goods Transactions
Circle operates on a full-stack model designed to address the persistent issues of uncertainty, scams, and coordination problems that plague the used goods market. Its AI-driven system verifies product listings, manages secure payments, and handles doorstep logistics.
Sellers benefit from a quick listing process, receive pricing support, and get their payouts promptly once the product is picked up and verified by Circle.
Strong Early Traction in Bengaluru
Since its soft launch in August 2025, Circle has already onboarded over 17,000 users in Bengaluru and is witnessing robust demand across electronics, furniture, appliances, and home goods.
The platform is addressing a significant gap in the market. India’s pre-owned goods market is valued at a massive ₹1.6 lakh crore, yet the user experience remains highly fragmented due to fake listings, incomplete data, and a lack of buyer and seller protection. Circle aims to elevate the experience for the over 70 million Indians who transact in used goods monthly, bringing it on par with primary e-commerce platforms.
