EndureAir Systems Secures ₹25 Crore to Advance UAV and Aerial Robotics Capabilities

EndureAir Systems, a deep-tech company specializing in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and aerial robotics, has raised ₹25 crore (approx. $2.85 million) in a funding round led by IAN Alpha Fund, with participation from the IAN Angel Fund.

The investment will be directed toward strengthening UAV capabilities for defense applications, expanding into enterprise markets, and accelerating the development of next-generation high-altitude logistics and aerial robotics platforms.

Founded in 2018 by Dr. Abhishek and his former students Rama Krishna and Chirag Jain, the Noida-based startup develops indigenous UAVs for logistics, defense, surveillance, and disaster management. Unlike many drone assemblers, EndureAir builds both hardware and software in-house, leveraging over 15 years of rotorcraft research and holding 8 patents in flight dynamics and autonomy.

EndureAir’s UAV portfolio features:

  • Sabal: a heavy-lift logistics drone (10–70 kg payload capacity), already deployed by the Indian Army’s Eastern Command.

  • Vibhram: a long-endurance UAV that enabled Telangana’s Medicine from the Sky vaccine delivery initiative.

  • Alakh: a nano-UAV series used in critical rescue missions, from the Chamoli cloudburst to the Turkey earthquake.

The company is also co-developing high-altitude logistics drones with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and has begun pilot projects in Bhutan with Druk Holding & Investments (DHI).

Competing with players like IdeaForge, Garuda Aerospace, and NewSpace Research, EndureAir is carving out a niche in rugged, mission-critical UAV solutions designed to serve defense and humanitarian needs.
