PunToon Kids and VidUnit Appoint Sagar Panda as VP – Brand Partnerships to Drive Strategic Growth

PunToon Kids and VidUnit have strengthened their senior leadership with the appointment of Sagar Panda as Vice President – Brand Partnerships, a move that signals the companies’ growing focus on building deeper, outcome-driven collaborations with brands across digital content ecosystems.

With nearly two decades of experience spanning media, advertising, and digital platforms, Panda brings a strong track record of creating high-impact brand alliances, scaling integrated sales solutions, and driving sustainable revenue growth across both traditional and digital-first organisations.

In his new role, Panda will lead brand partnerships, integrated digital sales, and branded content initiatives across both PunToon Kids and VidUnit. As VidUnit accelerates the creation of celebrity-led digital content IPs, he will play a key role in building strategic brand partnerships around these properties—designing scalable, premium collaboration models that deliver clear value for advertisers.

PunToon Kids, known for its focus on engaging, age-appropriate digital content for children, and VidUnit, which is rapidly expanding its footprint in creator-led and celebrity-driven digital formats, are both in an active growth phase. Panda’s appointment comes at a critical moment as the companies look to monetise content more strategically while maintaining creative integrity and audience trust.

Prior to joining PunToon Kids and VidUnit, Panda led the West and North regional business at Lokal News App, where he was instrumental in driving regional expansion and revenue growth. His earlier leadership stints include senior roles at ZEE5 (Associate Director – Growth & Partnerships), Zee Entertainment, Sakal Media Group, The Hindu Group, India TV, Network18 (News18), and Dalal Street Investment Journal, giving him a well-rounded perspective across broadcast, print, and digital media.

Over the years, Panda has built deep expertise across digital and programmatic ad sales, native and branded content, sponsorship-led IPs, concept selling, direct sales, and revenue forecasting. He is also known for building and leading high-performing teams and consistently delivering results in fast-evolving media environments.
