Tech Mahindra, a leading provider of technology consulting and digital transformation solutions, has announced the launch of its new Agentic Development & Modernization Services (ADMS) portfolio, aimed at helping enterprises modernize applications and build AI-driven, autonomous business ecosystems.
The new offering marks a significant shift in how Tech Mahindra approaches application services. Traditionally known as Application Development and Maintenance Services, ADMS has now evolved into Agentic Development & Modernization Services, integrating agentic AI, intelligent automation, and modern engineering practices across the entire application lifecycle.
The company said the new portfolio is designed to help enterprises modernize legacy systems, improve operational efficiency, and build future-ready digital platforms capable of adapting to changing business requirements.
Built on Tech Mahindra’s decades of experience in application development and managed services, the portfolio combines engineering expertise with AI-powered delivery models. Through agentic AI, contextual reasoning, and intelligent orchestration, applications can continuously analyze information, adapt to changing conditions, and respond to business needs with reduced manual intervention.
The company believes the services will help organizations increase development velocity, improve operational predictability, strengthen quality assurance, and create more autonomous and scalable application environments.
Commenting on the launch, Kunal Purohit, President – Next Gen Verticals, Tech Mahindra, said that enterprises worldwide are increasingly moving towards AI-native operating models, creating growing demand for intelligent operations and autonomous software engineering.
He noted that with Agentic Development & Modernization Services, Tech Mahindra aims to help organizations build adaptive, resilient, and context-aware application ecosystems that support the future of autonomous enterprises.
The newly launched portfolio is built around four key pillars:
Modernizing Platforms for Autonomy focuses on transforming enterprise platforms into modular, API-first, and AI-ready systems that can support agent-driven operations.
Agentic Software Engineering embeds intelligent AI agents throughout software development and DevSecOps processes to improve productivity, accelerate delivery timelines, and enhance engineering outcomes.
Autonomous Operations leverages intelligent automation, reasoning engines, knowledge graphs, and AIOps capabilities to enable real-time monitoring, optimization, and self-healing IT environments.
Autonomous Quality Fabric introduces AI-powered quality assurance agents that continuously improve testing processes, reliability, and software quality across DevOps pipelines.
The services are powered by several of Tech Mahindra’s engineering and AI platforms, including Swifter.io, AppGinieZ, Reforge, and LitmusT, along with other accelerators that support software modernization, intelligent operations, and AI-enabled quality assurance.
The company is also strengthening delivery through its Vector Squad-based approach, which combines human expertise with AI agents. In addition, Tech Mahindra has introduced a productized pricing model based on Service Tokens, allowing enterprises to consume services in a more modular way while improving cost visibility and value realization.
According to the company, AI-led application modernization is expected to emerge as a major growth opportunity over the coming years as enterprises increasingly invest in autonomous software engineering, intelligent operations, and outcome-focused digital transformation initiatives.
Alisha Mittal, Vice President, Software Engineering at Everest Group, said that the application services market is entering a more agentic phase where enterprises are moving beyond traditional automation toward AI-enabled delivery models that support continuous evolution, operational resilience, and engineering adaptability.
She added that as application environments become more complex and business change cycles accelerate, organizations are increasingly looking for intelligent and software-led approaches to application development, modernization, and operations.
The launch aligns with Tech Mahindra’s broader vision of helping enterprises transition from traditional application environments to intelligent, composable, and AI-native digital ecosystems capable of delivering continuous innovation and business-driven outcomes.
Part of the Mahindra Group, Tech Mahindra currently serves more than 1,100 clients across industries and has a workforce of over 147,000 professionals operating in 90+ countries. The company offers services spanning consulting, IT, enterprise applications, engineering, AI and analytics, cloud, infrastructure, network services, customer experience, and business process services.
Tech Mahindra is also recognized as the first Indian company to receive the Sustainable Markets Initiative’s Terra Carta Seal, highlighting its commitment to creating a climate- and nature-positive future.
