Healthcare platform Practo has announced a new leadership structure as it enters its next phase of growth, with founder and CEO Shashank ND Singh elevated to Managing Director and Executive Chairman and former Chief Operating Officer Jagnoor Singh appointed as Chief Executive Officer.
The changes took effect on September 1, 2026, according to the company.
As Executive Chairman, Shashank will continue to oversee Practo’s overall vision, product and strategy. His responsibilities will also include long-term innovation, capital strategy, inorganic growth and corporate development.
Jagnoor Singh, who joined Practo as COO in January 2025, will take charge of the company’s strategy, growth and operations across its global markets. During his tenure as COO, he has been involved in Practo’s growth strategy and expansion into new markets.
Before joining Practo, Jagnoor held senior operating roles at Bharti Airtel, Unacademy and OYO.
Practo Expands Leadership Roles
Alongside the CEO transition, Practo has expanded the responsibilities of several senior leaders.
Siddhartha Nihalani, the company’s co-founder, has been appointed COO-B2C, where he will oversee the consumer-facing business.
Rowel Coelho, previously Head of Monetization, has been appointed COO-B2B, taking responsibility for the company’s business-to-business operations.
Meanwhile, co-founder Abhinav Lal has been named Chief Scientist. In his new role, Lal will lead Practo’s work in artificial intelligence research and partnerships focused on healthcare.
Expansion Into UAE and US
The leadership restructuring comes as Practo expands its consumer platform into the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
The company said it is currently growing at approximately 40% year-on-year and has remained profitable for the past two and a half years.
Practo operates a healthcare discovery and technology platform that connects users with more than 700,000 doctors and healthcare providers globally. Its hospital management platform, Insta, is currently deployed across approximately 1,200 facilities.
The company’s new leadership structure places dedicated executives across its consumer, B2B and AI functions as Practo continues to expand its healthcare technology operations across domestic and international markets.
