Maruti Suzuki Backs the Builders of Tomorrow: 9 Startups Chosen in Latest Accelerator Cohort

In a defining moment for startup innovation, Maruti Suzuki India Limited has unveiled the nine winners of its 9th Accelerator cohort — and for the first time ever, the stage went global.

The spotlight this year falls on a dynamic blend of six Indian and three German startups, each brimming with transformative ideas. From AI-powered cybersecurity to battery-swapping innovations, these young companies aren’t just future-ready — they’re future-defining.

Meet the trailblazers:

  • From India: Frinks AI, mistEO, Adagrad, Com Olho, ProSolvr, and Eligere

  • From Germany: Caire AI, Syn2Core, and Talonic (debuting under the brand-new Global Startups category)

All nine will now enter into proof-of-concept collaborations with Maruti Suzuki teams, putting their technologies to the test in real-world conditions. Think of it as the ultimate pit stop — where innovation meets impact, and concept meets customer.

This milestone marks more than just another cohort. It’s a clear signal that Maruti Suzuki is doubling down on cross-border collaboration, tech-led transformation, and long-term startup partnerships. Out of a competitive pool of 26 shortlisted ventures — 19 Indian, 7 German — these nine rose to the top for their cutting-edge solutions spanning:

  • Cybersecurity

  • Road safety

  • EV charging and battery swapping

  • AI-enabled quality control

Each solution maps directly to Maruti Suzuki’s larger goal: making mobility smarter, safer, and more sustainable — all while enhancing user experience.

This Accelerator isn’t a one-off. It’s part of a broader innovation ecosystem the auto major has been building since 2019. Alongside the Incubation Program (launched in 2020) and Mobility Challenge (2021), Maruti Suzuki has now screened over 5,000 startups, actively worked with 150, and onboarded 25 as full-fledged partners.

Speaking to Indian Startup Times, a senior spokesperson at Maruti Suzuki remarked,
“We believe the best ideas don’t come from inside four walls. They come from the brave, restless minds building outside them. With every cohort, we get a glimpse into the future — and it’s getting brighter.”

And so, as nine ambitious ventures gear up to redefine automotive innovation with India’s largest carmaker, it’s clear: the road ahead is open, electric, and full of possibilities.
