Delhi NCR-based lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Zinara has raised ₹3.61 crore (around $380,000) in a pre-seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). Nine Jewellery, Bollywood actress Nikita Dutta and other angel investors also participated in the round.
The fresh capital will be used to expand Zinara’s team, increase its marketing activities and strengthen its supply chain infrastructure. The company also plans to expand its product portfolio and brand presence across India.
Building Everyday Lab-Grown Diamond Jewellery
Founded by Harshit Abrol and Sumanyu Vyas, Zinara focuses on everyday diamond jewellery made using lab-grown diamonds and 18K gold vermeil.
The brand currently offers more than 400 designs and has crossed ₹1 crore in annual recurring revenue, indicating early traction in the growing lab-grown diamond jewellery market.
Zinara follows a digital-first model and serves customers across India. Its product proposition is centred on making diamond jewellery more accessible for everyday use while combining lab-grown diamonds with contemporary designs.
The company also provides customers with a lifetime warranty, along with buyback and exchange options on its products.
Founders Bring Consumer and Startup Experience
Zinara’s co-founder and CEO Harshit Abrol has previously worked with P&G and Apnaklub, while co-founder Sumanyu Vyas has experience at Blinkit and Classplus.
The founders are now looking to use the latest funding to build out the team and strengthen the operational infrastructure required to scale the brand nationally.
Marketing will also be a key area of investment as Zinara seeks to increase brand awareness and reach more customers across India’s jewellery market.
Expanding the Lab-Grown Diamond Market
The funding comes as lab-grown diamonds continue to gain attention within the jewellery industry, with brands using digital-first models to target younger and more digitally engaged consumers.
For Zinara, the immediate focus will be on expanding its product and brand presence while strengthening its supply chain. The company aims to build on its existing portfolio of more than 400 designs and its ₹1 crore-plus ARR as it expands across India.
IPV’s Growing Startup Portfolio
Inflection Point Ventures has emerged as an active investor in India’s startup ecosystem. According to the company, IPV has invested more than ₹900 crore across over 280 startups.
With participation from IPV, Nine Jewellery, Nikita Dutta and other angel investors, Zinara’s latest round provides the company with capital to strengthen its foundations and pursue its next phase of growth in India’s evolving lab-grown diamond jewellery segment.
