WeHouse Raises ₹25 Cr Series A to Expand Prop-Tech Platform Across India

WeHouse (formerly known as Hocomoco), a Hyderabad-based prop-tech startup focused on home construction, has secured ₹25 crore (about $2.8 million) in Series A funding, structured as a mix of debt and equity. The round saw continued support from Anthill Ventures, along with participation from industry leaders Suresh Babu Daggubati, Gaurav Marya, and Mohnish Yerra.

This round follows WeHouse’s earlier $1.86 million raise led by Anthill Ventures and others. With the new infusion, the company aims to enter five new cities—Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Surat, and Chandigarh—before the year’s end.

Founded in 2017 by Sripad Nandiraj and Rohan Vinayak Reddy, WeHouse is building a tech-led ecosystem that simplifies and streamlines the entire home construction journey. The platform functions as a one-stop aggregator connecting architects, contractors, engineers, material suppliers, and skilled labour while also offering real-time monitoring so clients can track project progress digitally.

The company currently operates in Hyderabad, Chennai, and Vijayawada, and has completed 250+ projects out of 400 executed, with a live order book of ₹150 crore. Its business model includes per-square-foot pricing, material sales to contractors, and value-added interior design services.

With India’s residential construction market projected to touch $373 billion by 2030, WeHouse is positioning itself as a scalable, transparent, and tech-driven alternative to the highly fragmented construction sector.

In this space, the company faces competition from players such as Brick&Bolt, but differentiates itself by combining end-to-end execution with tech-enabled project visibility.
