Scooby’s Club, a network of premium dog care hubs located in residential neighbourhoods, has raised $250,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by TDV Partners.
The Bengaluru-based pet care startup will use the fresh capital to expand to two new properties across Bengaluru over the next 6–12 months. The company will also invest in hiring and training canine coaches to strengthen its expert-led approach to dog care.
Founded in 2025 by Animeha Singh and Ankit Guota, Scooby’s Club provides professionally managed neighbourhood daycare and overnight boarding services for dogs. The company is focused on delivering high-standard short-term and overnight care for working professionals and modern pet parents.
Bringing Professional Dog Care Closer to Pet Parents
Scooby’s Club combines canine behavioural principles with purpose-built indoor spaces located within residential neighbourhoods. The model is designed to make professional pet care more accessible while creating a familiar and convenient environment for dogs and their owners.
Each dog undergoes temperament testing and is grouped according to size to support safer and lower-stress socialisation.
The startup’s fully indoor, climate-controlled facilities incorporate sound, scent and colour elements aimed at providing mental enrichment. Scooby’s Club also offers allergen-sensitive care, personalised attention and 24×7 CCTV access, allowing pet parents to monitor their dogs during their stay.
Building a Network Across Major Indian Cities
With the latest funding, Scooby’s Club plans to strengthen its presence in Bengaluru before expanding its neighbourhood-led model to other major Indian cities.
The company has set a long-term target of building a network of 100 properties across major Indian cities, bringing professionally managed dog care closer to where pet parents live.
The startup believes its neighbourhood-based approach can address the growing demand for convenient, reliable and professionally managed pet care services.
India’s Pet Care Market Sees Growing Investor Interest
India’s pet care market is estimated at around ₹6,000 crore and is growing at approximately 20% CAGR, while pet ownership is increasing at around 5% year-on-year, according to market research cited by the company.
The organised pet care segment has also attracted growing investor attention in recent months. Vetic raised $40 million in June to expand its veterinary clinic network, while Supertails secured $30 million in February 2026 to scale veterinary clinics, at-home care and rapid delivery services. Premium D2C pet care brand Moe Puppy also raised ₹2 crore in pre-seed funding in March.
Against this backdrop, Scooby’s Club is positioning its neighbourhood-led daycare and boarding model as an opportunity to build a more organised and accessible layer of India’s growing pet care ecosystem.
With its latest funding, the startup plans to expand its Bengaluru network, strengthen its canine coaching capabilities and work toward its broader ambition of creating a 100-property premium dog care network across India.
