ReFit Global, an India-focused refurbished electronics company, has raised $1 million from a UAE-based family office in a funding round exclusively advised by Bestvantage Investments.
Along with the capital, the UAE-based family office will help ReFit Global explore potential partners, customers and business opportunities across the Gulf and African markets.
The fresh funds will be used to expand ReFit Global’s retail footprint, strengthen its refurbishment capabilities, invest in technology infrastructure and build an integrated omnichannel platform.
The company has built a technology-enabled ecosystem covering sourcing, refurbishment, quality control, distribution and retail across India.
ReFit Global Builds Pan-India Distribution Network
ReFit Global currently has a distribution network of more than 75 distributors, over 2,000 wholesalers and more than 50,000 retail outlets across India. The network gives the company access to metropolitan markets as well as Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
The company has also expanded its physical retail presence through 12 ReFit Xpress outlets, operating alongside its B2B distribution network.
Its business spans online marketplaces, offline retail and brand relationships. The company has sourcing and sales relationships involving platforms such as Flipkart and Amazon, along with other offline and strategic channels.
ReFit Global is also expanding its B2B and D2C initiatives to create multiple routes to market across the refurbished electronics value chain.
Commenting on the investment, Raman Sharma, Founder and CEO, Bestvantage Investments, said the company combines technology, physical infrastructure and a scalable distribution network. He added that ReFit Global has built significant operating capabilities across the refurbished electronics value chain and that Bestvantage Investments looks forward to supporting its expansion across India.
Saket Saurav, Co-founder, ReFit Global, said the funding marks an important milestone for the company and validates the ecosystem it has been building. He said ReFit’s focus remains on creating a trusted, technology-enabled refurbishment platform for customers and channel partners across India.
Avneet Singh, Co-founder, ReFit Global, said the company sees an opportunity to bring greater structure, transparency and technology to the refurbished electronics market. He added that its distribution network, refurbishment capabilities and omnichannel presence provide a foundation for further expansion.
Technology and Quality Control Remain Key Focus
Technology-led refurbishment and quality control form a major part of ReFit Global’s operating model.
The company currently reports a 92% refurbishment yield and has repair capabilities extending up to L4-level repairs, including advanced chip-level repair.
Its technology-enabled processes cover device diagnostics, automated quality checks, grading, post-quality-control processes and inventory management.
By bringing these functions together across the refurbishment lifecycle, ReFit aims to improve consistency, operational visibility and reliability across refurbished devices.
The company’s refurbishment infrastructure is also designed to address some of the key challenges in the category, including device quality, grading, condition and consumer trust.
ReFit Expands Its Omnichannel Model
ReFit Global’s growth strategy combines its refurbishment infrastructure with its nationwide distribution and retail network. This allows the company to operate across multiple stages of the electronics lifecycle, from sourcing and refurbishment to distribution and end-customer sales.
The expansion of ReFit Xpress outlets, alongside its B2B network and digital channels, is expected to strengthen the company’s direct consumer presence and increase access to refurbished electronics across different market segments.
ReFit Global was also featured on Shark Tank India Season 3, which helped increase consumer awareness of the company and its refurbished electronics business.
UAE Investment to Support International Expansion
The $1 million investment will give ReFit Global additional capital to expand its retail presence, strengthen refurbishment infrastructure, improve its distribution ecosystem and invest in technology.
The participation of the UAE-based family office also gives the company an opportunity to explore cross-border partnerships and market access across the Gulf and Africa.
With the new funding, ReFit Global plans to deepen its presence across India while strengthening the technology, infrastructure and distribution capabilities needed to scale its refurbished electronics ecosystem.
The company will also explore opportunities to use its relationship with the UAE-based investor to expand into international markets.
