PeakAmp Raises ₹12 Crore Seed Funding to Scale EV Battery Circularity Solutions

Battery circularity startup PeakAmp has raised ₹12 crore ($1.37 million) in a seed funding round led by Caret Capital, with participation from IIM Ahmedabad Ventures, Basant Sharma and Group, and other investors.

Founded in 2024 by Vijay Gond and Aditya Sudhanshu, PeakAmp is developing a full-stack end-of-life (EOL) battery management platform for India’s fast-growing EV ecosystem. Its solution spans the safe collection, second-life repurposing, and high-purity material recovery of lithium-ion batteries, turning battery waste into valuable resources.

The startup’s technology-driven platform is designed to close the loop on EV batteries by integrating reverse logistics, automated disassembly, and materials recovery, achieving over 99% purity for critical metals such as lithium, nickel, and copper.

“Our mission goes beyond waste management—we aim to redefine how India looks at end-of-life batteries,” said Vijay Gond, Co-founder of PeakAmp. “Circularity is not optional; it’s essential for energy independence and global leadership in sustainable innovation.”

PeakAmp has already completed pilots with leading EV ecosystem players and is now expanding partnerships across collection, logistics, and recycling value chains. The company plans to channel the fresh capital into strengthening its technology stack, scaling its reverse logistics network, and accelerating commercial rollouts.

With India’s EV market projected to grow from $35 billion in 2024 to $111 billion by 2029, PeakAmp is positioning itself as a critical enabler of the clean energy transition and circular economy.
