Outzidr Raises ₹27 Cr in Pre-Series A Round to Expand Fashion Brand for Gen Z Women

Outzidr, a Bengaluru-based fashion brand catering to Gen Z women, has raised ₹27 crore (approx. $3.1 million) in a pre-Series A funding round led by RTP Global, with continued participation from Stellaris Venture Partners, its existing investor.

This round follows the brand’s earlier ₹30 crore ($3.5 million) seed round, also led by Stellaris, with backing from a group of strategic angels.

Launched in 2024 by Nirmal Jain, Mani Kant Mani, and Justin Mario, Outzidr is a digital-first fashion brand offering trendy western wear for Indian women aged 18–28, designed for occasions ranging from brunches and college fests to airport runs and date nights.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to:

  • Launch its first exclusive offline store by March 2026

  • Strengthen its design, operations, and technology teams

  • Fuel the next phase of brand and customer growth

Outzidr operates on a “test and scale” model, piloting small batches and doubling down on bestsellers. The brand claims to release up to 2,000 new styles each month, distributed via its own D2C platform and leading marketplaces like Ajio, Myntra, and Nykaa Fashion.

“In just five months, we’ve crossed 100,000 customers, achieved 1.5x retention, and launched over 8,000 styles,” said Nirmal Jain, Co-founder & CEO of Outzidr. “This fundraiser validates our mission to become the everyday fashion choice for Gen Z women.”

India’s fast fashion market, currently valued at $10 billion, is expected to grow to $50 billion by FY31, driven by ~30% CAGR, positioning brands like Outzidr to scale rapidly. The startup competes with other emerging players like NEWME, Zudio, and Style Union.
