Mira Kapoor’s Dhun Wellness Secures $4 Million to Scale “In-City” Luxury Longevity Ecosystem

Dhun Wellness, the luxury urban wellness venture founded by entrepreneur Mira Rajput Kapoor, has raised $4 million (approximately ₹36.6 crore) in a fresh funding round. The investment was co-led by industrial giants SRF Ltd (Kama Group) and Havells India (QRG Investment & Holdings).

The round also saw a high-profile lineup of angel investors, including Abhishek Goyal (Co-founder, Tracxn), Ash Lilani (Saama Capital), Sanjay Kapoor (Genesis Luxury), Arushi Aayush Agrawal (Inspira Global), and others. The capital will be used to scale Dhun’s footprint beyond its flagship Mumbai sanctuary into Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad.

The Sanctuary Model: Ancient Wisdom Meets Longevity Tech

Launched in 2023, Dhun Wellness was born from Mira Kapoor’s vision to bridge the gap between traditional healing and modern science. Located in the heart of Mumbai’s Bandra, the 6,000 sq. ft. facility—designed with 13 treatment rooms named after musical terms like Reverb and Harmony—offers an “integrated healing” model for busy urbanites.

The sanctuary moves away from the “getaway retreat” concept, instead providing:

  • Traditional Pillars: Ayurvedic therapies, traditional Chinese medicine, and specialized sound healing.

  • Modern Longevity Science: Tech-led treatments including Electric Cryotherapy (reaching -160°C), Infrared Saunas, and Red Light Therapy.

  • Personalized Protocols: Signature 7-day programs for Gut Restoration, Sleep Alignment, and Stress Management, supported by a 24/7 concierge and home-care plans.

Tapping into a $250 Billion Market

With the global health and wellness market projected to reach $256.9 billion by 2033, Dhun is positioning itself at the intersection of luxury and preventive healthcare. The startup currently reports a consistent 15% month-on-month growth in demand, signaling a strong appetite for “in-city” longevity solutions that don’t require an escape to the hills.

“Urban India is evolving, and so are its wellness needs. Our goal has always been to bridge traditional knowledge with modern longevity science in a way that feels accessible and elevated. This funding allows us to take that vision to more cities,” said Mira Kapoor, Founder of Dhun Wellness.

Expansion and the Longevity Vertical

The fresh proceeds will not only fund physical centers but also build out a Comprehensive Longevity Vertical. This new arm will focus on:

  • Preventive Care: Data-driven wellness protocols to optimize long-term health.

  • Clinical Offerings: Strengthening the link between traditional recovery and evidence-based longevity metrics.

  • Omnichannel Growth: Enhancing at-home wellness dockets and nutritional guidance to sustain results post-treatment.
