Meta Fashion Raises $400K Pre-Seed To Build The Future Of Digital Fashion And Gaming

In a world where fashion is increasingly becoming digital-first, startups are beginning to rethink how people express identity across virtual spaces. Stepping into this fast-evolving category is Meta Fashion, a new-age digital fashion startup that is blending gaming, AI, and fashion commerce into one ecosystem.

The company has raised nearly $400,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Lumikai, with participation from angel investors including Big Bets, Akshat Rathee, and Pratham Mittal.

Founded in 2022 by Arjun Goel, Meta Fashion is building a digital-first fashion ecosystem for platforms such as Roblox, Fortnite, and ZEPETO. Alongside virtual fashion drops, the startup is also creating a “phygital” D2C layer where successful digital designs are transformed into physical merchandise.

The fresh capital will help the company scale its virtual fashion business, strengthen its original IP-led game GlamGirls, and expand further across user-generated content (UGC) platforms.

At the heart of Meta Fashion’s model is its proprietary AI-native fast fashion engine designed specifically for digital assets. The platform uses AI-powered styling and creation tools that track live marketplace trends and consumer demand signals, helping the company improve discovery, speed up asset production, and optimize conversions across virtual marketplaces.

The startup says it has already sold more than 2.5 million virtual fashion units on the Roblox marketplace, generating nearly $300,000 in gross merchandise value while maintaining an impressive 92% gross margin.

Meta Fashion is also seeing traction through its dress-up game, GlamGirls, which launched in beta on Roblox in late 2025. According to the company, the game has already crossed 100,000 paying users, with nearly 75% of its audience being female and almost half of its users above the age of 18 — a sign that digital fashion is evolving beyond just younger gaming audiences.

The company has also collaborated with global brands such as Walmart to bring real-world products into virtual environments, reflecting the growing overlap between gaming culture, commerce, and fashion.

As digital identity and virtual commerce continue to gain momentum globally, Meta Fashion is positioning itself at the intersection of gaming, creator economies, and AI-led fashion experiences. The company may compete with emerging players in the space such as Twin Atlas, TOPCAT, Reverse Polarity, and PhygitalTwin.
