Loop AI Secures $14M Series A to Transform Restaurant Back-Office Efficiency

In a move to tackle the growing financial complexity of the restaurant industry, enterprise AI platform Loop AI announced on February 2, 2026, that it has raised $14 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Nyca Partners, a fintech-focused firm, with participation from a high-profile group of investors including Gokul Rajaram, Base10, and Afore Capital.

The funding comes at a critical time for the hospitality sector. As delivery services evolve from a convenience to a primary revenue driver—often referred to by CEO Anand Tumuluru as the “new drive-thru”—restaurant operators are struggling to maintain profitability against rising third-party fees and operational “leaks.”

Solving the “Delivery Margin” Crisis

Founded in 2022 by a team of ex-Uber and Google engineers, Loop AI positions itself as an “agentic co-worker” for restaurant chains. Unlike traditional dashboards that simply display data, Loop AI’s platform uses specialized AI models to actively manage the “messy” middle of restaurant operations.

Key capabilities include:

  • Automated Financial Reconciliation: Syncing third-party delivery data (UberEats, DoorDash, etc.) directly with ERP systems like NetSuite to eliminate manual bookkeeping.

  • Chargeback Recovery: Automatically identifying and disputing “friendly fraud” or delivery errors to recoup lost revenue.

  • Operational Intelligence: Providing real-time insights into store uptime and marketing ROI to ensure delivery growth doesn’t cannibalize in-store margins.

Strategic Growth and Leadership

As part of the financing deal, Osama Bedier, a former executive at Google and GoDaddy, will join Loop AI’s board of directors. Bedier noted that Loop sits at the intersection of AI and operational efficiency, two “essential pillars shaping the future of dining.”

The company plans to use the new capital to:

  1. Expand its product suite into deeper marketing and supply chain automation.

  2. Scale global operations, adding headcount to its existing hubs in New York, San Francisco, Tampa, and Bengaluru.

Market Momentum

Loop AI has seen explosive growth, reporting a sixfold increase in its business since 2024. The platform currently supports over 300 brands, including major names like Little Caesars, McDonald’s, and Lazy Dog. For these chains, the platform acts as a safeguard, ensuring that as delivery volumes surge toward a projected $1 trillion market by 2035, the bottom line remains protected.
