JobsUPI Raises $250K to Build a “Quick Commerce for Jobs” Platform for Bharat

In India’s fast-evolving digital economy, access to jobs is still far from seamless—especially across Bharat. JobsUPI is looking to change that.

The multilingual, multimodal employment platform has raised $250K in a pre-seed round from IIMA Ventures, along with participation from angel investors including Alok Bansal, Anshoo Sharma, Amit Jain, and Manoj Sinsinwar.

Founded in 2025 by Shrey Bansal and Shubham Periwal, JobsUPI is building a Voice AI-powered platform designed to make job discovery and hiring faster, simpler, and more accessible—particularly for blue-collar and skilled workers.

The idea is ambitious but rooted in a clear gap: what if finding a job could be as quick and frictionless as ordering online?

JobsUPI is working toward a “quick commerce for jobs” model, aiming to enable hiring in as little as 30 minutes over time. Through a mix of multilingual interfaces, voice-led interactions, and hyperlocal discovery, the platform is designed to meet users where they are—both digitally and geographically.

Built on an open network architecture, the platform focuses on improving access for workers who are often underserved by traditional hiring channels, while also enabling MSMEs and enterprises to hire more efficiently.

The fresh capital will go into strengthening product capabilities, expanding distribution, and entering new geographies as the startup scales beyond its current presence in North India.

In the long run, JobsUPI is betting on scale—envisioning a platform that could help unlock 100 million jobs by enabling 10 million businesses to hire seamlessly.

Operating in a competitive space alongside platforms like Apna, Smartstaff, and AamDhanE, the differentiation may come down to accessibility and speed—two factors that matter deeply in Bharat’s employment landscape.
