Bengaluru-based paediatric healthcare startup Hoola Health has raised $5 million in a funding round led by Peak XV’s Surge. The round also saw participation from existing investor W Health Ventures and angel investors, including Ashish Gupta, Abhishek Goyal, and Bijou Kurien.
The fresh funding will be used to expand the company’s presence in new markets, strengthen its technology platform, and scale its integrated paediatric care model.
Founded in 2024 by Deeksha Senguttuvan, Hoola Health operates child-focused healthcare clinics that provide a wide range of services, including paediatric consultations, vaccinations, diagnostics, developmental therapies, and specialist care.
The startup combines physical healthcare centres with digital tools that help parents manage vaccination records, track their child’s growth, access prescriptions, and monitor developmental progress.
Alongside the funding announcement, the company has also rebranded from BabyMD to Hoola Health. The rebranding reflects its broader vision of supporting children across different stages of healthcare and development.
In just 18 months since its launch, Hoola Health has established five clinics and served more than 20,000 families. According to the company, over 60% of its new patients come through word-of-mouth referrals, highlighting strong customer trust and satisfaction. Additionally, more than 60% of its monthly visits are from returning families.
The startup also noted that nearly 35% of its revenue currently comes from developmental therapies, indicating increasing demand among parents for integrated child healthcare services beyond routine medical consultations.
Looking ahead, Hoola Health plans to significantly expand its footprint by opening 30 additional clinics across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Delhi NCR over the next two years. The company also intends to broaden its service offerings by introducing new areas of care, including paediatric dental services.
With fresh capital, a growing customer base, and an expanding healthcare model, Hoola Health aims to strengthen its position in India’s evolving paediatric healthcare ecosystem and make comprehensive child healthcare more accessible to families across the country.
