Thane-based marketing automation startup Grexa AI has raised Rs 15.5 crore (approximately $1.85 million) in a seed funding round led by Utsav Somani, with participation from DeVC (Z47’s seed fund), Bharat Founders Fund, and notable angel investors including Revant Bhate, Vaibhav Domkundwar, Ramakant Sharma, and Sumit Gupta.

Founded in 2024 by Ashutosh Kumar, Ayush Varshney, Arpit Oswal, and Narendra Agrawal, Grexa AI is on a mission to simplify digital marketing for India’s 6 crore+ small businesses. The platform offers enterprise-grade digital marketing tools in a simple, AI-powered app, tailored for small business owners with limited tech resources.

Grexa integrates local SEO, social media management, online advertising, and website tools into a single interface, using an autonomous AI engine to drive always-on, full-funnel marketing. Currently used by over 21,600 businesses—from salons and gyms to clinics and cafés—Grexa is positioning itself as a one-stop solution that eliminates the need for agencies or complex tools.

The freshly raised capital will be used to accelerate product innovation and expand market reach, the company said in a statement. With its AI-first approach, Grexa AI aims to democratize digital growth and transform how small businesses engage with their customers online.
