Genovation Technological Solutions, a deeptech startup developing privacy-first AI systems, has raised $150,000 in a pre-seed round, valuing the company at $6 million. The round saw participation from six individual investors and one foreign institutional investor.
The fresh capital will be directed toward product development, team expansion, R&D initiatives, and strengthening its go-to-market presence.
Founded in 2021 by Anurita Das, Genovation is building Mentis, the first Made-in-India, privacy-first Agentic AI platform. Unlike traditional generative AI systems that depend on external APIs or cloud-only setups, Mentis can operate across cloud, on-premise, and even fully offline environments—giving enterprises complete data control.
The platform enables natural language queries, citation-backed insights, and downloadable reports with source code, ensuring auditability and compliance for enterprises working in sensitive domains such as defence, healthcare, manufacturing, and finance.
By combining proprietary IP, two pending patents, and its acceptance into NVIDIA’s Inception accelerator, Genovation positions itself as a cost-efficient alternative to global AI giants. Its model promises 15x lower costs compared to players like OpenAI and Anthropic’s Claude, while delivering secure and enterprise-ready solutions.
With India-first pricing and a focus on Agentic AI for high-stakes environments, Genovation is carving a path to make advanced AI accessible without compromising privacy or scalability.
