In a time when digital finance is booming — and so are the risks — Mumbai-based Deep Algorithm Solutions is quietly fortifying the invisible walls that protect our online transactions. The cybersecurity and AI startup has just raised ₹10.8 crore (~$1.25 million) in a seed funding round led by Unicorn India Ventures, with participation from select angel investors.
Founded in 2021, Deep Algorithm has focused on solving a critical but often overlooked problem: digital fraud prevention in high-risk sectors like banking, government, and healthcare. Its tools are designed not just to catch threats — but to predict and neutralize them before they hit.
At the core of its product suite is adapIDAI, an adaptive behavioral intelligence engine that continuously authenticates users by analyzing patterns in real time. Alongside this is BotShield, the startup’s response to zero-day attacks, DDoS threats, and runtime vulnerabilities — offering active defense for systems under siege.
The startup’s client roster is already impressive. It has completed live deployments at a major private bank, a central government body, and a private hospital, and holds a government-issued patent, with an international patent in the works.
“This isn’t just about plugging holes. It’s about rethinking how identity and trust are built into digital interactions,” said one of the founders in a statement. “We want to empower teams to act fast, and stay ahead.”
The fresh capital will be used to expand engineering and threat intelligence teams, scale go-to-market efforts in India and Southeast Asia, and deepen integrations with platforms like Azure AD and Okta. Deep Algorithm is also working on a SaaS model and building intuitive risk dashboards to support mid-market enterprises and security teams looking for scalable fraud defense.
With new hubs planned in Mumbai and Bengaluru, and early partnerships brewing in Kenya, South Africa, and the UAE, the startup is setting its sights on becoming a global player in proactive cybersecurity.
As digital financial ecosystems grow more complex — and cybercriminals more sophisticated — startups like Deep Algorithm are not just building defenses. They’re laying the groundwork for a more secure and trustworthy digital future.
