DAAKit Raises $138K Pre-Seed to Expand Hyperlocal Fulfilment and Dark Store Network

In India’s rapidly evolving quick commerce and logistics landscape, speed is no longer a differentiator—it’s an expectation. And startups like DAAKit are stepping in to power that shift from behind the scenes.

The hyperlocal fulfilment and last-mile logistics startup has raised $138K in a pre-seed round led by Inflexion Point Ventures, marking an early vote of confidence in its asset-light approach to logistics.

Founded in 2024 by Chandan Ghugtyal, DAAKit is building a decentralised fulfilment network that enables brands to move inventory closer to demand. Through its model, sellers can tap into a network of dark stores and fulfilment centres to deliver faster, while optimising costs and efficiency.

The fresh capital will be directed toward expanding operations, with plans to launch 25 new dark stores across Tier I and Tier II cities. At the same time, the startup is doubling down on strengthening its technology stack and team—key to sustaining speed and scale in a highly competitive space.

Currently operational across major metros including Delhi, Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, DAAKit is also testing new ground with Lucknow as a pilot market—signalling its intent to deepen its presence beyond core urban hubs.

What stands out is the startup’s growth trajectory. DAAKit reports a steady 15–20% month-on-month increase in both order volumes and revenue, while maintaining double-digit EBITDA margins—an uncommon balance in a segment often challenged by unit economics.

At its core, the platform is leveraging hyperlocal fulfilment, dark store infrastructure, and AI-led logistics to help brands improve delivery timelines without compromising profitability. Today, it is already fulfilling thousands of orders daily and is now aiming to scale up to nearly 500,000 monthly orders as it expands its network.

As quick commerce continues to redefine consumer expectations, players like DAAKit are quietly building the infrastructure that makes “instant” delivery possible—one dark store at a time.
