CurvetAI Raises Rs 6 Crore in Pre-Seed Round Led by Merak Ventures

Pune-based AI startup CurvetAI has raised Rs 6 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Merak Ventures, with participation from angel investors.

The fresh capital will be used to strengthen the company’s engineering and technology infrastructure and develop agent-based capabilities that can handle more complex workflows.

From AI Tool Discovery to an AI Workspace

Founded in December 2025 by Vivek Dubey and Utkarsh Gupta, CurvetAI operates an AI workspace that brings multiple AI models together on a single platform.

The platform allows users to work with text, image, audio and video models in one place. Users can compare outputs from different models and combine their capabilities within the same workflow.

CurvetAI currently has more than 1 lakh monthly users globally, with India and the US emerging as its largest markets. The startup has also started generating revenue.

Its platform is used by individuals, teams and educational institutions.

Why CurvetAI Changed Its Model

CurvetAI initially began as a platform for discovering AI tools and prompts. However, the founders found that users still had to leave the platform to actually use the tools they had discovered.

This led the company to shift its focus towards building an AI workspace where different models and capabilities could be accessed and used within the same environment.

The startup is now working towards adding more agent-based capabilities that can support users with increasingly complex workflows.

Experienced Founding Team and AI Partnerships

Vivek Dubey, one of the company’s co-founders, has previously worked at Infosys, Microsoft and Google.

Co-founder Utkarsh Gupta has worked at Samsung and currently leads CurvetAI’s engineering and technical infrastructure.

The company now works with AI model developers and has collaborations with GnaniAI, Rumik AI and Alibaba.

With its latest funding, CurvetAI plans to further build its technology and engineering capabilities as it expands its AI workspace and develops more advanced agent-based features.
