Bengaluru-based AI Startup Alchemic Raises Rs 2.5 Crore in Pre-Seed Funding Led by AJVC

Bengaluru-based AI startup Alchemic has secured Rs 2.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by AJVC, with participation from a group of angel investors. The fresh funding will help the company strengthen its AI platform, expand its engineering and commercial teams, and accelerate enterprise adoption.

Founded in 2025 by Sreenadh Narayanan and Maurice Dhara, Alchemic is building AI agents that automate customer research for businesses. Its platform simplifies the entire customer insights process, from conducting interviews to analysing responses and generating detailed reports, reducing the time and effort traditionally required by research teams.

According to the company, its AI technology can interview hundreds of customers simultaneously and produce comprehensive reports within hours. These reports include supporting video clips and customer quotes, enabling businesses to gain actionable insights much faster than conventional research methods. Alchemic offers its solution both as a managed research service and as an enterprise integration product for organizations.

The startup says its revenue has grown fivefold over the past six months, reflecting increasing demand for AI-powered customer research tools. As businesses look to automate feedback collection and market research, AI-driven customer insights platforms are becoming an increasingly important part of enterprise decision-making.

Alchemic operates in a competitive global market alongside companies such as Listen Labs, Outset, Conveo, and Strella, which are also leveraging artificial intelligence to transform customer research and feedback analysis.

The investment was led by AJVC, an early-stage venture capital firm headed by Aviral Bhatnagar. AJVC has been actively investing in India’s startup ecosystem, with a portfolio that includes Bubble Me, Finanjo, Mindcase, Care Dale, HandyPanda, Multibagg AI, Nuyug, Mithila Foods, Jaagruk Bharat, TruFides AI, Chop Finance, Gaadi Mech, and Iztri.

With the new funding, Alchemic plans to continue improving its AI capabilities while expanding its reach among enterprises seeking faster, data-driven customer insights.
