ACS Energy Powers Ahead: Bringing Smart EV Charging to Every Building

In a country accelerating toward an electric future, one startup is ensuring that charging keeps pace with the drive. ACS Energy, a Mumbai-based EV charging startup, has raised ₹1.1 crore (around $132K) in a pre-seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) — a boost that promises to redefine how India charges its EVs.

Founded in 2022 by Jash Sheth and Mihir Bhanushali, ACS Energy isn’t just building chargers; it’s building accessibility. Their UPI-enabled charging platform blends hardware and software innovation, making EV charging effortless for users across two-, three-, and four-wheelers. With the ACS Pay system, transactions are as simple as a UPI tap.

What truly sets ACS Energy apart is its vision for urban sustainability. The startup is tackling a crucial gap — charging infrastructure in high-rise buildings and residential complexes. Through its AI-driven energy management systems, ACS ensures smarter power distribution, reduced energy waste, and seamless integration into existing grid setups.

With operations already active in Mumbai, Pune, Surat, Ahmedabad, and Kerala, ACS Energy is gearing up to deploy 5,000 UPI-enabled chargers across Maharashtra and Gujarat, before expanding nationwide.

As India’s EV charging market races toward a projected $13 billion by 2032, ACS Energy wants to be more than a participant — it aims to be an enabler of a truly digital-first, connected EV ecosystem.
