Butterfly Learnings Raises ₹65 Crore in Pre-Series B Round Led by Inflexor Ventures

Mumbai-based paediatric behavioural health platform Butterfly Learnings has raised ₹65 crore ($6.7 million) in a Pre-Series B funding round led by Inflexor Ventures.

Existing investors Enzia Ventures, Insitor Impact Asia Fund, and IIMA Ventures also participated in the round.

The fresh capital will be used to expand Butterfly Learnings’ centre network beyond Maharashtra, strengthen its technology and AI capabilities, and increase the deployment of its Get SET Early autism screening solution through hospitals and paediatricians. The company also plans to expand its therapist training programme.

Expanding Paediatric Behavioural Healthcare

Founded by Dr Sonam Kothari and Dr Abhishek Sen, Butterfly Learnings provides care for children with autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.

Its platform brings together clinical therapy, inclusive schooling, diagnostics, digital therapeutics, and technology-enabled interventions, with the aim of providing more integrated support for children and their families.

The company currently operates 90 centres across 22 cities in India. Alongside its care network, Butterfly Learnings runs a therapist training institute focused on behavioural healthcare standards.

Scaling Early Autism Screening

A key part of Butterfly Learnings’ expansion strategy is the wider deployment of Get SET Early, an eye-tracking-based autism screening technology for which the company holds an exclusive global licence.

Following CDSCO approval, the solution can be used to screen children from one year of age. Butterfly Learnings plans to make the technology more accessible by expanding its partnerships with hospitals and paediatricians across India.

The company believes greater access to early screening can help strengthen the pathway from initial identification to timely assessment and intervention.

Technology and Therapist Training in Focus

The new funding will also support investments in Butterfly Learnings’ technology and AI capabilities as the company scales its care infrastructure.

The startup plans to expand its therapist training programme alongside its centre network, helping build a larger pool of professionals equipped to provide behavioural healthcare services.

With its next phase of expansion, Butterfly Learnings aims to establish a wider presence across India while developing partnerships with healthcare providers and paediatricians.

The latest funding round marks another step in the company’s efforts to build a technology-enabled ecosystem for paediatric behavioural health, combining clinical services, early screening, professional training, and digital interventions.
