Vaaree Raises Rs 65 Crore in Series A to Expand Home Décor Marketplace and AI-Powered Discovery

Bengaluru-based home décor and furnishings marketplace Vaaree has raised Rs 65 crore, or $6.6 million, in a Series A funding round led by Hero Enterprise and Cap Alpha Ventures, formerly known as Client Associates Alternate Fund.

The fresh funding will help Vaaree expand its fulfilment network, improve delivery speeds and invest further in its AI-powered product discovery and home styling technology, including its VibeCheck platform.

Vaaree Builds a Curated Home Shopping Platform

Founded in 2022 by Garima, Varun Vohra and team, Vaaree operates a curated marketplace offering home products across categories such as décor, furnishings, bed and bath, kitchen and lighting.

The platform currently lists more than 1.5 lakh products, giving customers access to a wide range of home-related products through a single marketplace.

A key part of Vaaree’s product experience is its VibeCheck platform. The technology allows users to discover products based on their individual preferences, create moodboards, visualise different product combinations and shop coordinated home looks.

Focus on Faster Deliveries

With the latest capital, Vaaree plans to strengthen its fulfilment and quality verification infrastructure across key markets.

The company intends to bring inventory closer to customers, which will help reduce delivery times and improve the overall shopping experience.

Vaaree is also working towards next-day deliveries across major Indian cities as it expands its fulfilment network.

Backed by Leading Investors

Vaaree’s existing investors include Peak XV’s Surge, PeerCapital, All In Capital, Better Capital, OTP Ventures and Kunal Shah.

The Series A funding provides the company with additional capital to scale its operations while continuing to develop technology-led ways of helping consumers discover and shop for home products.

With its focus on curated products, AI-powered discovery and faster fulfilment, Vaaree is looking to strengthen its position in India’s growing online home décor and furnishings market.
