CloudWorx: Building the Future of Web-Based Digital Twins and AI-Powered Applications (without GPUs!)

CloudWorx, founded by Yuvraj Tomar, Kaushik Bharadwaj M, and Dhaivat Pujara, is building a browser-based platform that aims to make digital twins and AI-powered enterprise applications more accessible, scalable, and easy to use. In a conversation with Indian Startup Times, the founding team shared how the company evolved from its earlier venture Thinqbot into CloudWorx, a more focused product built for cloud-based creation, no-code workflows, and enterprise adoption. The company’s story reflects a shift from product exploration to a sharper enterprise vision. The startup’s journey reflects a mix of experimentation, resilience, and product clarity. What began as an idea shaped by smart home and 3D applications has now grown into CloudWorx Studio, a web-based platform designed to remove the friction of downloads, heavy hardware, and complex setup.

From early experiments to a sharper vision

The founders said the company’s earlier phase as Thinqbot helped them understand where the real opportunity lay. After the acquisition of Thinqbot by Sattva Group in 2019, the team shifted toward cloud-based platforms and began building with a more enterprise-focused lens. That shift became the foundation for CloudWorx Studio, a browser-based product that allows users to create and manage digital twins without depending on traditional native software workflows. The team said this decision was driven by a desire to build something more flexible, scalable, and easier to access for both developers and businesses.

Building through challenges

Like many startups, CloudWorx had to navigate the disruption caused by COVID-19 during its early years. The team shared that remote work, infrastructure constraints, and the difficulty of setting up high-end systems for employees made execution harder than expected. Even so, the company kept developing its product over the next two years and eventually secured its first customer in 2022. That milestone marked an important turning point, showing that the product could convert technical ambition into real market adoption.

Why does the product stand out?

A major part of CloudWorx’s differentiation lies in its technical approach. The team explained that they chose to build their own platform rather than rely on third-party tools like Unity or Unreal, giving them more control over product direction and performance. The browser-first approach positions CloudWorx as a practical alternative in a space that often demands heavy technical infrastructure.

Listening to customers

The founders emphasized that product decisions are closely tied to customer feedback and market demand. Rather than building in isolation, the team said it pays attention to what clients want, then adapts the roadmap accordingly. That mindset also led to the introduction of a B2C vertical that uses AI to generate scenes from documents, similar to how website builders simplify website creation. The company sees this as part of a broader move toward no-code and AI-assisted creation tools.

Funding and investor confidence

CloudWorx has attracted investor attention despite operating in a niche category that is still evolving. The company has received backing from FAAD Network, Venture Catalyst, Appy High, 1Crowd, Lets Venture, and was also featured on Shark Tank Season 2. The team said investors are drawn not just to early revenue, but to the strength of the founders’ experience, their technical depth, and the uniqueness of the problem they are solving. In a market where digital twins can be expensive and complex to implement, CloudWorx is positioning itself as an easier and more accessible option.

Go-to-market approach

For customer acquisition, the founders pointed to networking as one of the most effective strategies. They said corporate events, demo days, incubators, and accelerators have helped them build visibility and create meaningful business relationships. They also noted that outreach through LinkedIn and direct communication has been useful for connecting with potential customers and partners. According to the team, this combination of relationship-building and targeted outreach has worked better than broad, unfocused marketing.

Looking ahead

CloudWorx sees strong potential in international markets, especially the US, where digital twin adoption is already more mature. The company is also working toward making its technology more accessible through Super3D.ai, an AI-powered platform for building and deploying web applications with no-code capabilities. The larger vision is ambitious but clear: to make web-based digital twins as easy to use as everyday productivity tools. If that vision plays out, CloudWorx could become a key enabler for enterprises looking to adopt immersive digital infrastructure without the usual complexity.

Closing note

What stands out most in CloudWorx’s story is not just the product, but the team’s ability to adapt, refine, and keep building through uncertainty. From early startup lessons to enterprise-grade innovation, the company is shaping a path that blends technical depth with practical usability.
