Bodycraft Raises ₹120 Crore from Singularity AMC to Expand Clinic-and-Salon Network Across India

Bengaluru-based Bodycraft Clinic and Salon has raised ₹120 crore in fresh funding from Singularity AMC, as the integrated beauty, wellness, and medical aesthetics platform gears up for its next phase of expansion across India.

The investment marks a significant milestone for Bodycraft as demand for organized beauty, wellness, and advanced aesthetic care services continues to rise in India’s rapidly evolving personal care market. Quest Profin Advisors Pvt. Ltd. acted as the exclusive investment banker for the transaction, while ALMT Legal, Advocates & Solicitors served as legal advisors.

Fresh Capital to Drive Expansion and Technology Upgrades

Bodycraft plans to use the newly raised capital to accelerate expansion into new cities and strengthen its presence in existing markets. The company aims to add 30 new locations to its network while investing heavily in clinical technology, advanced equipment, AI-driven operational efficiency, and enhanced customer experience.

Currently, Bodycraft operates 67 premium wellness and medical aesthetic clinics and salons across India, making it one of the country’s largest integrated clinic-and-salon platforms.

The company believes that combining salon and clinical services under one roof gives it a differentiated advantage in a highly fragmented market.

From a Single Salon to a National Wellness Brand

Founded in 1997 by Manjul Gupta, Bodycraft started as a single salon in Bengaluru and has since evolved into one of India’s most recognized beauty and wellness brands.

The business expanded further when Swati Gupta joined in the early 2000s, strengthening the company’s holistic beauty offerings. In 2011, Sahil Gupta, an Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur alumnus, joined the company and played a key role in scaling operations.

Under Sahil Gupta’s leadership, Bodycraft significantly expanded its footprint and established a leadership position in India’s organized beauty and wellness sector.

A major contributor to the company’s growth has been its clinical business, led by Dr. Mikki Singh, who joined as Founder and Medical Director in 2015. A board-certified dermatologist and master injector, Dr. Singh specializes in facial and body aesthetics along with advanced skin and hair treatments.

Leadership on the Fundraise

Commenting on the fundraise, Sahil Gupta, CEO of Bodycraft Clinics and Salons, said the investment represents the beginning of a new growth chapter for the company.

He noted that the capital infusion will help Bodycraft scale faster, strengthen its technological and clinical capabilities, and continue investing in talent and infrastructure needed to build a category-defining business.

“Our ambition is to create the most trusted destination for beauty, wellness, and medical aesthetic services in India while delivering exceptional outcomes for customers,” he said.

Dr. Mikki Singh added that the company’s long-term goal has always been to build an outcome-first clinical practice focused on world-class results.

She said the new capital will enable Bodycraft to invest in advanced technologies, strengthen training programs, and explore emerging treatment categories such as longevity science and regenerative therapies.

Singularity AMC Bets on India’s Wellness Growth Story

For Singularity AMC, the investment reflects strong confidence in Bodycraft’s differentiated business model and ability to scale sustainably.

Sandeep Bapat, Co-Chief Investment Officer at Singularity AMC, said the firm was impressed by how Bodycraft successfully built both clinic and salon businesses under a unified platform.

According to him, the hybrid model has proven highly scalable and positions the company well for nationwide expansion. Singularity is an India-focused alternative asset management platform with approximately $1 billion in assets under management (AUM) across growth equity and public market strategies.

Riding India’s Booming Beauty and Aesthetic Care Market

Bodycraft operates in a sector witnessing strong structural tailwinds.

Industry estimates suggest India’s clinical aesthetics market could grow from approximately $2 billion in 2024 to over $7 billion by 2033. Meanwhile, the broader beauty and personal care market is expected to expand from around $27 billion in FY25 to nearly $39 billion by FY30.

Several macro trends are driving this growth, including rising disposable incomes, greater awareness of wellness and preventive care, increasing consumer willingness to spend on self-care, and growing adoption of specialized aesthetic treatments.

Strengthening Leadership in Integrated Wellness

Today, Bodycraft operates 33 clinics and 34 salons across 10+ cities, supported by 800+ professionals and serving more than 350,000 clients. The company’s integrated model combining clinical dermatology, advanced aesthetic medicine, wellness, and premium salon services has positioned it uniquely in India’s beauty ecosystem.

With fresh funding, aggressive expansion plans, and increasing demand for premium wellness experiences, Bodycraft is aiming to further cement its leadership in India’s fast-growing beauty and medical aesthetics industry.
