Corporate Travel Platform Ziptrrip Acquires HelloTravel to Expand into Leisure and MICE Segments

Corporate travel and expense management platform Ziptrrip has acquired online travel marketplace HelloTravel Online to broaden its service offerings across diverse business travel segments.

The strategic acquisition is set to accelerate Ziptrrip’s expansion into business leisure (bleisure), MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and experiential travel—areas that traditionally demand robust supply networks and specialized execution capabilities.

Strengthening the Supply Chain

Founded in 2019 by Shan Prabhakaran and Rishabh Agarwal, Ziptrrip provides corporate clients with automated travel bookings, streamlined approval workflows, and dynamic travel policy enforcement driven by intelligent algorithms. The platform utilizes a meta-supply backend to analyze travel patterns and policy compliance, delivering cost-effective fares to its users. To date, Ziptrrip has facilitated over 200,000 trips across a corporate client base exceeding 650 companies.

By integrating HelloTravel, Ziptrrip will leverage an established marketplace network consisting of more than 7,000 verified travel agents and Destination Management Companies (DMCs). HelloTravel’s catalog includes over 200,000 experience-led travel packages alongside an organic community of 1.5 million followers.

“The acquisition will help Ziptrrip expand its presence across business leisure, MICE, and experiential travel, segments that require stronger supply networks and higher execution capabilities.”

Operational Transition and Corporate Structure

Under the terms of the transaction, HelloTravel will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ziptrrip’s parent entity, Wayfarers Technologies Private Limited.

While HelloTravel’s original co-founders, Pankaj Agarwal and Mohit Shrivastava, will exit the business, the company’s existing workforce will remain intact. The current operational team is slated to continue managing day-to-day operations and maintaining partner relationships to ensure continuity for its global network of verified tour operators.
