FruBon Secures New Funding to Accelerate North India Expansion

JAIPUR – Dev Milk Foods, the parent company behind the rising dairy and ice cream brand FruBon, has successfully raised an undisclosed amount of fresh capital to fuel its next phase of growth. The investment round saw participation from Fireside Ventures, the Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office, and a strategic group of angel investors.

This latest infusion of capital follows a previous $10.5 million (approx. Rs 64.1 crore) Series A round led by Fireside Ventures and pi Ventures.

Strategic Use of Capital

According to a company statement, the new proceeds are earmarked for three primary verticals:

  • Retail Expansion: Scaling presence into new cities and strengthening existing distribution networks.

  • Infrastructure Upgrades: Enhancing production capabilities and bolstering cold chain logistics to maintain product integrity.

  • R&D: Accelerating product development across its diverse dairy and ice cream portfolios.

Operations and Market Reach

Founded in 2017 by DD, Rahul, and Rohit Verma, the Jaipur-based enterprise has evolved from a local dairy player into an integrated manufacturer and distributor. FruBon currently manages an extensive portfolio of over 200 SKUs, ranging from staples like ghee, paneer, and curd to artisanal ice cream flavors such as Chilli Guava, Rose Gulkand, and Strawberry Cheesecake.

The brand’s footprint now spans more than 75 cities and towns across North India. Its multi-channel distribution strategy includes:

  1. General Trade: Local kirana and neighborhood stores.

  2. Modern Retail: Large-format supermarkets.

  3. HORECA: Specialized partnerships with hotels, restaurants, and catering services.

  4. Quick Commerce: Rapid delivery via online platforms.

Supply Chain Integrity

A key pillar of FruBon’s growth has been its integrated supply chain. The company operates its own milk collection centers across Rajasthan, implementing rigorous quality testing protocols at every stage—from raw material sourcing and production to final packaging.

With this new backing, FruBon aims to solidify its position as a dominant regional player while continuing to innovate within the increasingly competitive Indian dairy tech and FMCG landscape.
