Bengaluru-based AI startup Ask My Guru (AMG) has secured a $500,000 investment from Bharat Matrimony, part of the Matrimony.com Group. This latest funding follows AMG’s earlier $1.2 million seed round, bringing its total funding to $1.72 million.
The investment will accelerate AMG’s AI-driven Vedic astrology development and enable deeper integration with Bharat Matrimony’s platform.
Founded by Krishna Mohan Vedula and Vivek Sadamate, Ask My Guru leverages AI to provide Vedic and KP system-based astrology solutions for matchmaking. The platform offers compatibility assessments, astrological guidance, and personalized insights on relationships, career, and life decisions. Since its beta launch in June 2025, AMG has registered over 400,000 users and facilitated 5 million chats.
The collaboration allows AMG to tap Bharat Matrimony’s extensive user base of 4 crore customers across web, mobile, and more than 130 retail outlets. Ask My Guru also plans to expand globally, starting with the US.
This partnership marks a step toward integrating AI astrology into online matchmaking, blending cultural traditions with technology to create scalable matchmaking solutions.
