Mumbai, October 9, 2025: Fintech major PayU has unveiled its UPI NXT Stack, a comprehensive suite designed to enhance India’s real-time payments ecosystem. The launch marks a significant step in PayU’s strategy to deepen its presence in the fast-evolving UPI landscape.
This development comes shortly after PayU acquired a 70% majority stake in Mindgate Solutions, a leading real-time payments technology provider. The partnership combines PayU’s fintech expertise with Mindgate’s proven digital payments infrastructure to deliver next-generation UPI solutions.
The UPI NXT Stack introduces two flagship products — UPI NXT and TPAP NXT — aimed at improving speed, reliability, and ease of digital payments for merchants and businesses.
- UPI NXT addresses persistent issues such as payment failures and delayed refunds by offering high-speed transactions, instant refunds, and faster merchant onboarding.
- TPAP NXT allows enterprises to integrate full-scale UPI payment capabilities through customizable APIs and SDKs, supporting key features such as virtual payment address creation, P2P transfers, merchant payments, Autopay, and one-time mandates.
Further strengthening its innovation pipeline, PayU has partnered with NPCI to launch UPI Reserve Pay and UPI Autopay Interoperability — two solutions designed to enhance customer flexibility and improve transaction success rates. UPI Reserve Pay enables users to block funds for future use, while Autopay Interoperability allows seamless management of mandates across multiple apps.
With UPI transactions surpassing 20 billion monthly, PayU’s latest offerings position it as a key enabler of India’s digital payments growth. The company continues to support banks and financial institutions across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the UK, solidifying its global payments footprint.
