Bengaluru-based healthtech startup Plazza has secured $1.4 million in a funding round led by All In Capital, with additional participation from Better Capital, Tracxn founder Abhishek Goyal, Bounce co-founder Vivekananda Hallekere, the Singhania family office, and promoters of JK Tyre.
The company stated that the fresh capital will support its plan to expand product offerings and scale its retail presence in Bengaluru, with a roadmap of 20 new outlets in the next 12 months. Plazza currently operates its flagship store in Yemalur and is pursuing an omnichannel model that combines physical stores with digital ordering to ensure faster access to medicines.
Unlike conventional pharmacies that typically stock 4,000–5,000 SKUs, Plazza’s stores offer more than 20,000 SKUs, ranging from essential medicines to specialty health products. Customers can either walk in to purchase directly or choose delivery within 15–60 minutes via its platform.
Founder Aman Priyadarshi emphasized that the company is “challenging the way pharma is retailed” by addressing the common problem of limited availability. Co-founder Aniruddha Sen, who previously co-founded Kenko Health, joined Priyadarshi in launching Plazza in November 2024.
The startup has already served over 10,000 customers and claims to be growing at a weekly rate of 25%. Beyond medicines, Plazza intends to expand its portfolio to include healthy snacks, mother & baby care, elder care, and dermatology products, both online and offline.
The investment comes at a time when quick commerce and e-pharmacy players are aggressively expanding into healthcare. Competitors such as Instamart (in partnership with Pharmeasy), Zepto, and Amazon (with Orange Health) are also eyeing the medicine delivery space. Meanwhile, peers like PlatinumRx and Truemeds have recently secured larger rounds to strengthen their market positioning.
With its latest funding, Plazza is positioning itself as a specialized quick-delivery player in pharma retail, seeking to bridge accessibility gaps for urban consumers.
